Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul, Nantes (Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul de Nantes)
The Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul, commonly called the Cathedral of Nantes, is a Gothic Roman Catholic cathedral in the city of Nantes. The construction of the cathedral began in 1434, on the site of a Romanesque cathedral, and took 457 years to finish, finally reaching completion in 1891. The cathedral has high nave and several tombs, including that of king François II.
